I'm going to write a journal article detailing this experience...and I envy you and your ability to merely mingle with your own kind behind closed doors, instead of being the sole artist who's holding the line in both front and back, lol.

You have my utmost respect for dealing with customers. My first two jobs were nothing put pure customer service. I learned that I don't like the average person, and that I have waaaaaay more consideration for any poor sap that has to deal with my customer service issues.
I have an AMAZING job that I am beyond grateful for.
It's actually kind of funny you mentioned that, my co-worker's handwriting was a little sloppy and I ended up charging the customer twice what she was quoted...then again, when you spend TWELVE hours on a project and 20 emails back-and-forth deciding on a background texture, the doubling in costs is justified..
