I've seen this rumor flying around my inbox this past week.  Over at Rotoscopers.com (no clue who they are) a guy named Jim Hill (no idea who he is other than he apparently runs a Disney blogcast) is saying that IF...if the upcoming CGI reboot of Ducktales (woo-oo!) is a success for DisneyXD, that CGI reboots of Kim Possible and Darkwing Duck are slated to follow.

Like I said, I don't know if this guy has intimate inner-connections to WDC or if he's just full of sh*t and is just speculating about something which at the minimum probably wouldn't happen until at least 2020 at the earliest (Ducktales returns in 2017).  But hey, who knows...it makes sense if you think about it though. Seeing that by then, the show would be 18 years old, and would have given the people who grew up watching it plenty of time to grow up and reproduce and want to be back into it for nostalgic purposes with children of their own in the same manner people like me who grew up in the 80's and 90's do with our own kids with shows like Transformers, Ninja Turtles, He-Man, My Little Pony, Strawberry Shortcake, etc.  It's really a smart business strategy if you think about it.  (I lived through Transformers G1, G2, Beast Wars, Beast Machines, Armada, Energon, Animated and those abortions Michael Bay created)

Yes...I just made a lot of Generation Y feel very old, lol.

Take it for what it's worth...back to business.

PS:  While we're on the subject of rumors I keep getting, no I do not know the financial status of dA or what's happening with their CORE membership. I know it's got a lot of people talking and a lot of people think the site might be going the way of myspace or going to a pay-only site. I know dA at its core is a business and at the end of the day, Angelo Sotira has to pay the bills in some way or another, but I don't see that angle ever happening.  If you're stupid enough to take a site which has 25 million viewers who post an average of 1.5 million pieces of artwork DAILY and greatly reduce that figure with a pay-only option, it would have to be one of the biggest blunders of the information age.

HOWEVER, in the unlikely event that I win the lottery and become a billionaire and dA goes down, I'll probably make a Weasyl or Tumblr account and continue posting my artwork and stories until I decide to call it a day.  But until then, you'll keep seeing me on here, posting things until something outside of my control makes me do otherwise.

I didn't know DA was having problems.  Maybe I'd be more aware if I was an artist who posted content.
